For our 2026 year, we are going to be featuring island artists at the Entry area of the gallery and we would love to feature YOUR work! This space is the main focus area as you enter the gallery, and we like to keep it fresh. We are open to collaborations betweeen artists, small groups, installations, individual artists, pop ups, mini markets – bring us your ideas 🙂

The space is approximately 100 square feet and has two walls – one is 8′ and the other is 12′. It can accommodate a variety of works – sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, tapestries, etc and we are seeking artists who would like to feature their work for 3 1/2 weeks at a time, generally for an entire month, minus a few days for setup and takedown.

Below are images of the space with a variety of past shows and artists featured. Our commission is 60% paid to the artist. We provide the space, handle all displays and labelling, promote on social media, press releases sent to Valley papers (not all shows are chosen by the paper to be featured), and email our 700+ email list of clients. We also have black plinths on hand, and assorted shelving available for displaying 3d works of art. We have seen an increase of foot traffic over the past year due to a variety of reasons, including the expansion of our art supply area.

We have a few months reserved for annual gallery events, such as our annual 100 Bucks or Less Art Show that occurs each July. Please email Suzan at info@excellentframeworks.ca to submit your proposal. (Please do not show up at the gallery with a portfolio in hand.)

Your proposal must include:

Exhibition Proposal: This should tell us what the physical work is, what the general theme is, and give
a sense of scale of the exhibition (how many pieces, what sizes, etc.).

What inspirations or traditions guided or influenced this body of work? Tell us about the influences or inspirations behind this work.

How are the methods or techniques you use important to this body of work? Tell us how, or what, the choice of medium or process contributes to this work.

Any special installation needs or requirements? If your work requires specific installation techniques or equipment, let us know what those are.
